On August 7 and 8, the Alvas Pragati 2026, a prominent job fair, will take place at the Alvas Vidyagiri campus in Moodbidire. Prasad Shetty, head of the Alvas Public Relations and Mass Communication department, announced this at a press conference in Kundapura on Monday. The Alvas Education Foundation has been continuously organizing this unique job campaign since 2007, and it has become one of the most trusted job fairs in the state, bringing together prominent companies from various fields and talented job seekers on one platform.
As part of the Alvas Education Foundation’s social responsibility initiative, this massive job fair will be held completely free of charge, aiming to provide quality job opportunities to deserving youth, especially from rural and backward areas. In the last edition of Alvas Pragati, 2,873 people received job offers on the spot, and 3,734 candidates were shortlisted for further recruitment processes.
This year’s Alvas Pragati 2026 will feature companies from IT/ITES, manufacturing, healthcare and pharmacy, banking and finance, sales and retail, hospitality, media, electronics, telecommunications, and construction sectors.
