Ajit Pawar to become Maha CM: Sanjay Rawat after portfolio sharing
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be ousted and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is likely to lead the government in future, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Rawat said on Friday.
“Ajit Pawar may become CM in future. CM (Eknath Shinde) change is sure,” Rawat said after handing over the financial account to Ajit Pawar.
Ambadas Danve, Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, said that it is time to take revenge against the 40 Shiv Sena MLAs who rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray.
The Shiv Sena MLA had accused Ajit Pawar of embezzling money when he was part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. But Danve has retorted that the same person who left the party is now the finance minister of the state.
