Ahmedabad-Mangalore Special Train: Know Details

Ahmedabad-Mangaluru Special Train: The Railway Department has decided to run an extra train between Ahmedabad-Mangalore in the month of June to avoid extra traffic of passengers. A special train will run between Ahmedabad-Mangalore Junction-Ahmedabad once a week in three trips each.

Railways is operating a weekly special train between Ahmedabad and Mangalore to clear the extra passenger traffic during June. Trains depart from Ahmedabad on Friday and then from Mangalore on Saturday and reach their destination the next day.

Railways will operate a weekly special train between Ahmedabad-Mangalore Junction-Ahmedabad Junction from June 8 for three trips this month to clear the extra traffic of passengers. According to Railway Department, Train No. 09424 Ahmedabad Junction-Mangalore Junction Weekly Special Train will depart from Ahmedabad Junction at 4 PM on Fridays, June 9, 16 and 23 and reach Mangalore Junction at 7.40 PM on Saturdays.

Train No.09423 Mangalore Junction-Ahmedabad Junction weekly special train will leave Mangalore at 9.10 pm on Saturday. 09424 Ahmedabad to Mangalore special train will stop at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Ratnagiri, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi and Suratkal.

The composition of the special train from Ahmedabad to Mangalore consists of three AC 2-tier coaches, 12 AC 3-tier economy class coaches, three sleeper class coaches, two second class sitting coaches, one second class (disabled friendly) come luggage/brake van coach.

A special train has been deployed for the convenience due to high passenger traffic in the month of June. Later, the special train will be canceled and the regular train will operate between Mangalore and Ahmedabad as usual, the railway department said.
