Four Afghan returnees make their way to M’luru; Sr Theresa Crasta reaches Kazakhstan from Kabul
Mangaluru : After spending almost a week stranded in war-torn Afghanistan, four people from Dakshina Kannada have returned home. Dinesh Rai, Jagadish Poojary, Shravan Anchan and Desmond D’Souza are the returnees. Dinesh Rai from Bajpe, Jagadish Poojary from Hosangady near Moodbidri, Desmond Davis D’Souza from Kinnigoli Pakshikere, and Shravan Anchan from Urwa were airlifted from Afghanistan on Sunday.
All four have arrived at Mumbai airport from Delhi. They arrived at Mangaluru airport later. In the meantime, Sr Theresa Crasta from Bela Periyadka Kasargod has reached Kazakhstan. Her family received a message from her sister regarding the safe arrival of her in Kazakhstan from Kabul on Monday. In a few days, she might return to India.
