On Janmashtami, the Janatha Group of Institutions organised the Janatha Rasabugge 3.0 programme at its Janatha New English Medium School in Kirimanjeshwar. Children aged one to six took part in two themed competitions – Muddu Krishna and Muddu Radhe – under the banner of the festival.
Special guest Asmit J, a noted trainer from Little Champs, Mangalore, addressed the gathering. He highlighted the importance of early stage exposure for children, saying that a platform at a young age builds confidence and encourages fresh achievements. The school’s president Ganesh Mogaveer added that the institution aims to nurture talent beyond academics and that the Muddu Krishna and Muddu Radhe events reflect this vision.
In the Junior Muddu Krishna category (1‑3 years) Prisha C Shetty secured first place and a cash award of Rs 15,999, followed by Maitri V Ithal with Rs 13,999 and Nayanash Sushir with Rs 12,999. The Senior division (3‑6 years) saw Aghanya J Pujari win Rs 15,999, Riya P Shreyan in second with Rs 13,999 and Shivkarthikey in third with Rs 12,999. All winners received medals, plaques and certificates.
The Muddu Radhe contests ran parallel. Junior champion Vishwa claimed Rs 5,999, Aryahi Yogesh took second with Rs 4,999 and BR Radhika Mayy earned Rs 3,999. In the Senior bracket, Aradhya A R led with Rs 5,999, Jeshna followed with Rs 4,999 and Kruti V secured Rs 3,999. Additional participants were honoured with consolation prizes.
