On Sunday, a massive blood donation camp and free health check-up camp took place in Mulki, at the Balakunje Saint Paul’s Church premises, as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The event was organized by the Land Victims Welfare Committee Balakunje, Kollur, Ulepadi, and Blood Help Care Karnataka, in collaboration with various organizations. Vm. Fr. Paul Sequeira, the Guru of Sant Paula Temple, presided over the program and emphasized the importance of donating blood, stating that it is essential to forget about caste, creed, and differences to save lives and live in harmony.

A wide range of organizations participated in the event, including the Youth Commission, Health Commission, and Women’s Commission, among others. Free BP and sugar check-ups were conducted by V. Care Clinical Laboratory Kinnigoli. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Denis D’Souza, President of Bhu Victims Welfare Committee, Shamshudhin Doddakere, Director of Blood Help Care Karnataka, and Dr. Madhukar of Mukka Srinivas Hospital.

The program was welcomed by Denis D’Souza, while Shamshuddin introduced the event. Mamata D. Poonja offered her thanks, and Dinakara Shetty narrated the program. The event was a significant success, with a large number of people coming together to donate blood and support the cause.
