On August 16, the Karnataka State Sunni Yuvajana Sangha (SYS) will host the valedictory function of the ‘Milad 1500 – Prophet of Universal Vision’ program in Hassan. SYS State General Secretary K.M. Aboobacker Siddique announced this at a press conference on Friday, stating that the ‘Mera Nabi – Day Night Milad’ program will commence at 6 AM and continue until 6 AM the next day at Khuba Masjid. The event is part of the 1500th Prophet’s Birthday celebration, which has seen various programs throughout the year, including harmony tours and interfaith gatherings. The ‘Mera Nabi – Day Night Milad’ program will feature spiritual programs such as Mawlid, Baith, Naseehat, Burdah, and Salawat, showcasing praises of the Prophet in prose and poetry. State Waqf Council Vice President N.K.M. Shafi Sa’adi will inaugurate the program, while Shambhunatha Mahaswami and Dr. S.M. Zaini Kamil Saqafi will deliver messages of harmony. The 24-hour program will be presided over by SYS State President Bashir Sa’adi Bengaluru, with several dignitaries in attendance, including MP Shreyas Patel and MLA Swaroop Prakash. The event will conclude with a valedictory message from Syed Ilyas Thangal Erumad on August 17.
