On its fifth day, Jude Anthany Joseph’s Thudakkam maintained a steady pace at the box office, with the Malayalam film earning an estimated Rs 1.61 crore net in India on Tuesday. The film was screened across 1,136 shows, taking its total India net collection to Rs 13.61 crore. Thudakkam has recorded a worldwide gross collection of Rs 28.69 crore, with its India gross collection standing at Rs 15.79 crore and overseas gross at Rs 12.90 crore. The film, which marks Vismaya Mohanlal’s acting debut, has generated interest among audiences following its theatrical release. Vismaya Mohanlal stars as Meenu, alongside Aashish Antony as the antagonist and Sai Kumar as Meenu’s differently abled father. Thudakkam recorded an overall occupancy of around 30% on its first Tuesday, with Kochi leading the major cities at 34.8% across 114 shows. The film’s Malayalam version registered 24.08% occupancy overall, with night shows performing the best at 43.83%. Other cities, including Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Kozhikode, Thrissur, and Kollam, also saw significant occupancy, while Mumbai logged 16.5% across 32 shows. With its steady box office collection, Thudakkam is expected to continue performing well in the coming days.
