On June 26, in Udupi district, District Collector T.K. announced that the digitization of census forms for 89.76% of the total voters has been completed. This milestone was achieved as part of the special brief revision of voter lists, known as SIR-2026, directed by the Central Election Commission. The district has a total of 10,63,876 voters, and as of Sunday evening, 9,55,001 voters had undergone digitization. Booth Level Officers, or BLOs, distributed enumeration forms to all voters, and 16,206 voters were found to be deceased during home visits, while 16,807 voters had permanently transferred. Additionally, 5863 voters self-registered online in the district. The district has also achieved 100% digitization and verification in 249 polling booths. The number of polling booths with 100% completion is as follows: Byndur Constituency has 47 polling stations, Kundapur has 47, Udupi has 29, Kapu has 55, and Karkala has 71. The district administration requests those who have not filled out their forms to do so immediately and submit them to their concerned BLO. The door-to-door collection of enumeration forms will continue until August 8.
