On Friday, the Hangarakatte Government Higher Primary School in Kota witnessed a heartwarming event as Karave, a local organization, distributed chairs, tables, and toys to the students of LKG and UKG. Ansar Ahmed, the Udupi District Honorary President of Karave, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of supporting government Kannada medium schools. He stated that Karave has been actively working towards the betterment of these schools across various districts.
The event was led by Karave State President Praveen Kumar Shetty and State Coordinator Prasanna Kumar Shetty. They handed over the donated items, including comfortable chairs, tables, and toys, to the school headmistress, Prasilla Ri. The donation was made by the Karave Women’s Unit, and the program was attended by several dignitaries, including Devaki Barkuru, District President of Karave Women’s Unit, who was honored by the school.
The event also saw the presence of Udupi District President Sudhir Pujari, School SDMC Vice President Usha, Karave District Vice President Nizam, Principal Secretary Viresh, and school teachers Veena Shetty and Usharani. Karave Suma welcomed the guests, narrated the proceedings, and felicitated the dignitaries. The program showcased Karave’s commitment to supporting local government schools and promoting education in the region.
