The editorial highlighted the police action against protesting youths in Delhi as an act of high-handedness. The party argued that when dialogue fails, dictatorships ultimately collapse. The editorial claimed that despite being met with violence, protesters refused to back down, signaling growing defiance against the administration. It questioned why Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has not been asked to resign amid the ongoing youth discontent. The editorial also pointed to nationwide land and environmental disputes, including protests in Rishikesh, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh, as well as farmer agitations in several Maharashtra districts. The Shiv Sena accused the ruling party of undermining constitutional machinery and criticized Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over parliamentary proceedings. The party warned that a breakdown in dialogue between rulers and citizens can lead to civil unrest and the downfall of authoritarian regimes, citing global examples from Libya, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
