On July 22 and 23, residents of Mangaluru can expect power outages due to emergency maintenance work scheduled by MESCOM. On July 22, the 11KV Dominic Church feeder from the Urva Market sub-station will undergo maintenance from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, affecting areas such as Dominic Church, Shanthi Lane, and Kodikal Katte. The following day, July 23, maintenance work on the 11KV Attavar, Falnir, and other feeders from the Kankanady 33/11KV sub-station will take place from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, impacting Kankanady, Valencia, and surrounding areas. Additionally, the 11KV Tunganagar feeder from the Kulasekhara 110/33/11KV sub-station will also undergo maintenance on July 23 from 10 AM to 5 PM, affecting Bajal Nanthoor, Darbar Gudde, and other areas. MESCOM has announced these scheduled power outages, advising residents to plan accordingly. The maintenance work is expected to last around 7-8 hours on both days, with power supply expected to resume by 5:30 PM on July 22 and 5 PM on July 23.
