On May 29, 2026, Bunts Qatar organized the Karnataka-Based Association Badminton Tournament Season 3 at the Hamilton International School in Doha, Qatar. The event, which took place from 8 am to 10 pm, brought together prominent Karnataka associations in Qatar for a day of competitive badminton and community spirit. Dr. Anees Alyafei, a senior consultant in community medicine, inaugurated the tournament, emphasizing the importance of sports and fitness in building a healthier society. A total of 69 teams from various associations, including TuluKoota Qatar, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, and Bunts Qatar, participated in the tournament, showcasing exceptional sporting talent and teamwork. After a series of thrilling matches, TuluKoota Qatar emerged as the tournament champion, while Bunts Qatar secured the runner-up trophy. The grand closing ceremony was attended by prominent guests, including Shri Harish Pandey, First Secretary (Education & Culture) at the Embassy of India, and Mr. E. P. Abdurahiman, President of ISC Qatar. The ceremony included a heartfelt vote of thanks and the recognition of sponsors and supporters who contributed to the event’s success. The tournament was a testament to the unity and community spirit of Karnataka associations in Qatar, with participants and supporters coming together to promote healthy living and sportsmanship.
