On July 19, the Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Kundapura Zone Committee organized a blood donation camp at the Lakshminarasimha Kalamandira of Board High School in Kundapura. Rev. Fr. Paul Rego, chief priest of Kundapura zone, inaugurated the event, emphasizing that one person donating blood can save three lives. He encouraged everyone who is healthy to donate blood, stating that it is a virtuous act of saving lives. The camp was held in collaboration with the Health Commission Kundapura Zone, Indian Red Cross Society, JCI Kundapura City, and Lions Club Hangaluru.

Shaila Lewis, President of Kundapura Zone, presided over the event, which was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Adarsh Hebbar, Administrative Director of Adarsh Hospital Kundapura, S. Jayakar Shetty, Chairman of Indian Red Cross Kundapura Unit, and Kiran Devadiga, President of JCI Kundapura City. Preetham G. Poojari, a student who secured full marks in the SSLC examination, was felicitated on the occasion. The blood donation camp collected a total of 128 units of blood. Dr. Sony D’Costa, convener of the camp, welcomed the gathering, while Maria D’Silva, secretary of the zone, proposed the vote of thanks. Asha Carvalho compered the program.
