As of July 9, Udupi district has distributed 9,51,491 census forms to voters, achieving 89.5% of its target. The district has a total of 10,63,876 forms to be distributed. According to District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Swaroop T.K., 58,500 filled-up forms have also been collected from the voters. The forms were distributed by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who visited each household in the district.

The district reported 407 deceased voters and 243 voters who have been permanently transferred to other places. Additionally, 80 voters have registered online. The BLOs have been given a honorarium of Rs 8,000 each for their work, with a total of Rs 88,96,000 released for 1,112 BLOs in the district.

The SIR process has been ongoing, and the district has made significant progress. The public can also register or update their details online through the Voter Service Portal (VSP) or the Voter Helpline App. The district has a total of 10,63,876 voters, with 9,51,491 forms distributed so far.
