Chikkaballapur: BS Yediyurappa, the chief minister, warned citizens to be cautious, saying that if they do not follow Covid’s guidelines, the government will be compelled to reimpose the lockdown. The government has currently loosened the restrictions in the state while maintaining the night curfew.
Concerns over the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic was quelled by Yediyurappa’s assurance that the government will successfully handle the situation.
The CM noted that makeshift hospitals are only being created in six states in India, but that the first one has been inaugurated in Karnataka, and thanked private firms for helping the government in the construction of the 70-bed hospital.
Yediyurappa was speaking after launching a makeshift hospital in Doddaballapur, Bengaluru’s rural area, to deal with the corona’s third wave.
