AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal said that an appeal will be filed in the Supreme Court against the Gujarat High Court verdict. After the Gujarat High Court refused to grant an injunction against Rahul Gandhi’s punishment in the defamation case, the Congress said it would continue its fight against the verdict. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the judge’s argument is being studied and the matter will be taken up further.
