Attention motorists! Nice road, Tumkur-Bangalore toll rate increase from today

From July 1, the pocket of the motorists will be cut again. Nice roads, Tumkur-Bangalore, and Nelamangala-Bangalore roads have to pay higher toll rates. The toll rate of these roads will increase further from July 1.

The toll of the peripheral and link roads of Nice Road is per cent higher than last year. It will increase by 10-20% and will be effective from today. Nandi Economic Corridor Enterprises Limited (NICE) has issued a notification in this regard on Friday.

 

 

As part of the BMIC (Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor) project, it has been notified that the toll of peripheral roads and link roads has been revised for all types of vehicles including cars, buses, trucks, light commercial vehicles and multi-axle vehicles. The toll rate of Nice Road was also revised on 1st July 2022.

Nelamangala-Bangalore toll rate increase

The rate has also been revised at the Bangalore-Nelamangala road toll plaza. From July 1, cars and jeeps will have to pay Rs 30 for a single journey and Rs 40 for same-day return. The monthly pass, limited to 60 single journeys, has been hiked to Rs 845. Light vehicles and minibuses have to pay Rs 45 for a one-way journey and Rs 70 for a return journey on the same day, while buses and trucks have to pay Rs 95 for a one-way journey and Rs 145 for a return journey respectively.

Artha Mover vehicles and heavy construction machines will be charged Rs 155 for one journey and Rs 230 for same day return journey. 1,405 for monthly pass for light vehicles. Rs 2,885 for buses and trucks and Rs 4,640 for heavy vehicles.

Toll fare on Nelangala-Tumkur route is expensive

The toll rates on the Nelamangala-Tumkur stretch of National Highway-48 have also been revised with effect from today. Crossing both tolls is Rs 85 for cars, Rs 80 for light goods vehicles and Rs 165 for trucks and buses. Vehicles crossing only one toll plaza are charged Rs 25 for cars, Rs 40 for light goods vehicles and Rs 80 for trucks and buses.
