Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal shared the CCTV footage of the robbery from a businessman inside the Pragati Maidan tunnel on 24 June (Saturday) on his Twitter handle. We will show you how to make a city safe for its citizens.
How did the loot happen at Pragati Maidan Tunnel?
Sajan Kumar, a resident of Mehsana, Gujarat, has a business of gold and silver jewelery in Chandni Chowk. He was going by cab on Saturday afternoon to give two lakh rupees to a firm based in Gurugram. Companion Jitendra Patel was also with him. The businessmen were going towards India Gate via Pragati Maidan Tunnel from Ring Road on Saturday evening around 3 to 4 pm. That’s why four miscreants riding two bikes stopped the motorcycle in front of his car and snatched the bag full of money.
Before this incident, CM Kejriwal and LG Saxena had made many allegations and counter-allegations by writing letters to each other on law and order last week.
