India has now significant role on the global stage: John Kirby Praises.

 

US National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby has sung the praises of India, saying that India is now a “world player” exporter of security and stability. He said that he is looking forward to further strengthening India-US relations.

“India is already a security exporter in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond. Contributing to the Indo-Pacific Quad. We are participating with India in the I2U2. It will be a multilateral system for the Middle East, so India is a world player and a net exporter of security and stability,” Kirby told ANI in an exclusive interview. .

 

 

Speaking about the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden, who arrived in Washington DC on Wednesday, Kirby said the leaders’ discussion will “focus on the future of India-US relationship”.

Trust that strengthens the relationship

“The relationship between India and the US is good and we look forward to strengthening it and continuing it,” said John Kirby.

 

Mentioning the key areas of cooperation between the US and India, he said that in the next two days, India and the US will hold important discussions on defense cooperation, cyber, space, resilient supply chains and climate change.

“It’s about improving and strengthening this bilateral relationship with India. It’s a future-focused discussion,” said John Kirby, the National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator.

Modi said that the talent pipeline should be nurtured

Earlier, attending the ‘Skilling for Future’ event at the National Science Foundation, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the need to nurture the pipeline of talent to sustain the growth momentum between the two countries.

“India and the US need a talent pipeline to maintain the growth momentum of both countries. While the US has top-notch educational institutions and advanced technologies, India has the largest youth community in the world. I believe the India-US partnership will prove to be an engine of sustainable and inclusive global growth,” said Virginia, US. PM Modi said at the National Science Foundation in Alexandria.

American students urged to come to India

He spoke about the steps taken by the Government of India to ensure a bright future for students, such as implementing a new education policy and integrating education and skills.

PM Modi urged American students to come to India and said hundreds of American teachers are already in India, participating in tech partnerships.

Prime Minister Modi will attend a state dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. On the same day, Narendra Modi will address a joint session of the US Congress.

On June 23, US Vice President Kamala Harris and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will host a joint dinner for the Prime Minister.

Narendra Modi will meet business leaders from 20 top American companies and is likely to address a gathering of over 1,500 expatriates and business leaders.
