Nepal Bombat batted first in this match. Openers Shuwal Burtel and Asif Sheikh played a partnership of 171 runs for the first wicket. Kushal scored 99 runs off 95 balls and fell 1 run short of the century while Asif scored 66 runs. Malla contributed 41 runs. Captain Rohit Paudel scored 31 runs. Nepal collected 290 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Nagarwa took 4 wickets for Zimbabwe.
