Suman had demanded five seats
For the past few days, Jitan Ram Manjhi has been accused of playing pressure politics on Nitish Kumar. He had made it clear that if his party does not get a respectable share in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, it can contest all the 40 seats in Bihar. Earlier Jitan Manjhi had demanded 5 seats. But as this demand was not fulfilled, it is said that now they have severed the alliance.
