Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D.Ok. Shivakumar on Wednesday stated that observers shall be appointed for figuring out presidents and office-bearers of District Congress Committees (DCCs).
Incumbent presidents of DCCs and MLAs would be told about points associated to appointment of latest presidents and office-bearers to DCCs, and their ideas can be sought whereas making new appointments.
The KPCC has determined to revamp DCCs to strengthen the organisation earlier than the approaching elections to numerous our bodies, together with the BBMP, and zilla and taluk panchayats.
He instructed reporters in Bengaluru that observers would go to all districts and contemplate ideas given by MLAs and different leaders on appointment of latest office-bearers to DCCs. He too would go to some districts to determine appropriate candidates to move the DCCs, the KPCC chief stated.
