Illegal money transfers: Satyendra Jain’s custody extended
NEW DELHI: The custody of AAP minister and Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain in the custody of the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on June 9 (UNI) has been extended to June 13 by Delhi’s Roose Avenue court.
On May 30, Satyendra’s house was raided and seized Rs 2.82 crore and 133 gold coins. ED officials then asked the court to extend the detention.
Significantly, during the search on June 7, the ED confiscated various indictment records and digital records. It said total tangible assets were confiscated from an “undefined source.”
Meanwhile, Satyendra Jain has applied for bail through his lawyer.
