New Delhi, May 20 (IANS) Elections strategist Prashant Kishore recently responded to a three-day Congress think-tank in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The Congress held a three-day think-tank session to discuss the strategy and electoral challenges of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. These include Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, senior leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad and P.M. Many people including Chidambaram participated.

Last month, it was rumored that Prashant Kishore would join the Congress party. He later tweeted that he would not join the party. But the fact that he did not comment on the party’s main meeting only sparked debate in the political arena.

However, Prashant Kishore has responded to the outcome of the congress with a tweet. He wrote that there was no achievement of the party in the camp.

A brainstorming session

I have been repeatedly questioned about the outcome of the Udaipur think camp. In my view, it fails to achieve anything meaningful, except to extend the status quo and give the leadership some time. He tweeted that this could continue till the upcoming Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections.

The highlight of the think camp

The Congress Party made several important decisions during the three-day think-tank. This includes not giving election tickets to those over 70 years of age. One ticket per family, preferably 35 years old. The rules recommended that leaders who had completed five years in office should not be in any position in the party for three years.

We must acknowledge that our disconnect with the general public of Rahul Gandhi, who was present at the same meeting, has been disconnected and we have to work hard to reconnect. People know that the Congress party can lead the country. There is no way to connect with people. The party must sweat it and earn it. He appealed to party workers and leaders to spend months with farmers and mercenaries, not for a few days. He also promised members to fight against the BJP. He had announced his journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Siddaramaiah had presented a paper on economics at the camp. He spoke of the deteriorating economic situation in the country and the ways to improve it.

English summary

Political strategist Prashant Kishor has finally shared his view on the Congress’s three-day Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan’s Udaipur and said the achievement of the session was meaningful.
