Remake of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Anand’! will be released on May 20
Mumbai: Anand remake of Bollywood late actor Rajesh Khanna and megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be released on May 20 (UNI). Sameer Raj Sippi, grandson of producer NC Sippy and producer Vikram Khakhar, is working on a remake of the 1971 film Anand. She shared the poster on social media about this.
The producers have been informed that the project is still in the scripting phase and the film’s directors have not yet been finalized. Sameer Raj Sippi said stories like ‘Ananda’ need to be told to a new generation. Given the sensibilities and associated emotions of the original film, I felt that many stories need to be re-told when today’s generation is hungry for something very relevant and especially good.
