Basavaraja Horatti officially joined the BJP.

Bangalore, May 18 (IANS) Basavaraja Horatti, who resigned from his post as chairman, left the JDS and officially joined the BJP.

Basavaraja, who was appointed as the Vidhan Sabha Chairperson through the JDS, resigned last February. The BJP has joined the resignation of May 17.

 

 

On Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai officially arrived at the party with a flag and shawl. Former chief minister Jagadish Shettar and BJP national general secretary C.T. Ravi, Minister Govinda M. Carazola, r. Many, including Ashok, came out and congratulated him.

Politically Powerful:
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said, “Basavaraja Matti is a veteran leader who has been honored as a Vidhan Sabha member, minister and president for 45 years.

Have been in politics since 1952. There is no record in the whole country of constantly being elected to the Methodist Council. It is a pleasure to have such leaders. He decided to join our party and met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Resigned as Chairperson and Methodist Council. Already everything is animated. Said to have officially joined today.

Huge program in Hubli:
We have Basavaraja Horatti coming out with a huge program in Hubli. His inclusion has given the BJP a strong following. Energy has come mainly in North Karnataka. Senior leaders have agreed to respect their experience and make all kinds of opportunities in the party. He described the BJP as the most historic day for growth.
