Congress condemning al-Qaeda chief’s statement on hijab

BANGALORE: Former KPCC general secretary SA Hussein said that I strongly condemn Al Qaeda chief Ayman Al Zawahiri’s statement that Indian Muslims should unite on the issue of hijab on April 07 (UNI).

India is a democratic country with unity in variety. He appealed that the Muslim community as a whole should understand the fact that the choice of curriculum, prayer, philosophy, doctrine and uniform in school is the fundamental right of every educational institution.

Some fascist forces are trying to stir up harmony between Muslims and Hindus for political gain. Trying to disrupt the social and secular structure of the nation. We are all committed to maintaining the harmony of India. But we do not need or need advice from another foreign terrorist organization. Al Zawahiri has said that we condemn the statement.
