5 children drowned in Mumbai’s Marve Creek, 2 were rescued, 3 still missing.

Mumbai. Five children who went to bathe in the Marve Creek (lake) of Malad, Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, drowned on Sunday morning. Local people saved two of the drowning children, but three children are still missing, whose search is on. An officer of the fire brigade gave this information.
The incident took place at 9:38 am when five boys, aged between 12 and 16 years, had gone to bathe in a creek located in Malad area, half a kilometer from the beach, he said.
The official said that among them (children), teenagers aged 13 and 16, were rescued by the common people even before the fire brigade reached there. He said three other teenagers, two aged 12 and one 13, were missing.
