WTC Final 2023: The Australian team declared in the 2nd innings of the World Test Championship final match which is being held at the Oval ground in London. In this match, Team India won the toss and chose to bowl.

Accordingly, the Australian team started the first innings with the help of Travis Head (163) and Steve Smith (121) century and collected 469 runs.

After this, Team India batted with the help of half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane (89) and Shardul Thakur (51) and were bowled out by scoring 296 runs.

Alex Carey (66) for Australia, who started the second innings with a lead of 173 runs, was brilliant by scoring a half-century. Also declared by scoring 270 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

With the first innings behind, Team India has to chase a huge target of 444 runs in the second innings to win this match. Currently the 2nd session of the 4th day is going on and after this the 5th day is pending.

That means 137 overs are left, in which Team India has collected 444 runs. Here, Team India can win if they score an average of 3.24 runs per over. But it remains to be seen how the Indian batsman will bat against the Aussies who have a strong bowling line-up.
