Bangalore: Coronavirus is on the decline in the state, with 11,958 cases of coronavirus reported today, with the number rising to 27,07,481.
340 people have been killed in the last 24 hours. The death toll has risen to 31,920, the Department of Health and Family Welfare said in a statement.
In Bangalore, 1,992 people were infected today, with the number of people in the city rising to 11,85,118. According to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, 199 people have been infected in the city.
There are more than 27,299 positive cases of hospital discharge in the state. With this, the number of people recovering from infections has risen to 24,36,716. There are 2,80,186 active cases.
A total of 1,31,553 Covid tests were conducted statewide and 11,958 positive cases were detected. With this, the positivity rate in the state is around Rs. Dropped to 9.08.
Among the new cases were 1,991 in Bangalore, 355 in Belgaum, 267 in Bellary, 282 in Chikkaballapur, 294 in Chitradurga, 408 in Dakshin Kannada, 380 in Davanagere, 1108 in Mysore, 1224 in Shimoga, 420 in Tumkur and 394 in Uttar Pradesh.
Among those who died of infection in the last 24 hours, there were 199 cases in Bangalore city, 5 in rural areas, 9 in Bellary, 3 in Dakshina Kannada, 5 in Davanagere, 10 in Hassan, 6 in Kolar and 17 in Mysore.
